Soft and New - Spring 2012
Can you stand another spring-themed post? Well, in my defense, it is spring! And I love spring, love the newness and the regrowth of things that seemed hopeless just a few months ago 🙂
In this shot, I also was quite taken with the hexagons of light in the background, caused by refraction through the dewdrops..
These dew-covered flowers remind me of cold glasses of Grape Kool Aid, covered with condensation. I can almost smell the tangy, fake-grape scent, taste the sweet-sour flavor, and feel those cold droplets of condensation on the glasses.
What do these flowers make you think of?
Just what our pastures need, new grass!
Hope for the Horses - Winter 2012
If it is not growing in their manure, the horses will love this new grass – when I let them have access. If it is, they will eat all around it, but will avoid the dark green grass at all costs.
Fashion and nature: beaded and fringed dress, spiraling around the body. 
It was actually this morning, when attempting to photograph frost crystals, that I started to think about nature and fashion. I will post one of this morning’s photos later, I hope, after my battery has recharged (and my camera’s battery, lol) and I have examined the photos.
Still, turn this upside down and I can imagine a flapper’s dress, can’t you?
